The list01
What is in Nervecept?
What is in Nervecept is eight active ingredient lines, a plant-based capsule shell and rice flour. The printed Supplement Facts panel gives an amount for every line, and there is no proprietary blend.
The lines add up to 699 mg per capsule (our arithmetic), and glucosamine sulfate is about 72% of that. The other ingredients are hypromellose, a vegetable capsule, and rice flour. The label says CONTAINS: shellfish (crayfish) (21 CFR 101.36, Nutrition labeling of dietary supplements).

Every line is printed with its amount (21 CFR 101.36, Nutrition labeling of dietary supplements). The total of the listed amounts is 699 mg a capsule (our arithmetic).
The brief and the sales FAQ mention biotin and a proprietary blend; the printed label shows neither, and every ingredient has its own amount. The brief and the sales page also name only six ingredients, while the label lists eight (it adds MSM and bromelain). The label wins.

The big picture04
Are the Nervecept ingredients proven for nerve health?
No, the Nervecept ingredients are not proven for nerve health in any source we cite. The research on them is mostly about knee osteoarthritis.
No trial has tested the finished capsule, and the seller-issued press release reports no clinical testing (Press release about the product). Reviews of vitamin B for neuropathy found little or no clear benefit (Cochrane, Vitamin B for neuropathy).
Keep taking prescribed medicine as directed (NINDS, Peripheral Neuropathy).
See the Nervecept side effects page and the supplement facts page.
FAQ05
Nervecept questions people ask
What are the active ingredients in Nervecept?
Eight lines: glucosamine sulfate 500 mg, Indian frankincense (Boswellia serrata) 67 mg, chondroitin sulfate 50 mg, turmeric root 50 mg, quercetin 8 mg, methionine 8 mg, MSM 8 mg and bromelain 8 mg.
Does Nervecept contain biotin?
The printed label shows no biotin. Some web pages and the sales FAQ mention it, but the Supplement Facts panel lists eight other ingredients. Read the panel on your own bottle, and if biotin appears, it is a different formula (NIH ODS, Biotin).
Is there a proprietary blend in Nervecept?
No. The label gives a separate amount for every ingredient, so nothing is hidden inside a blend.
Is Nervecept made from shellfish?
The label says CONTAINS: shellfish (crayfish). Most glucosamine comes from shellfish shells (NCCIH, Glucosamine and Chondroitin). Anyone with a shellfish allergy should ask a doctor before use and check the allergen line on the bottle.
Does Nervecept have vitamins in it?
No vitamins are on the label. It lists glucosamine, boswellia, chondroitin, turmeric, quercetin, methionine, MSM and bromelain. Low B12 is one cause of tingling, so ask a doctor about testing (MedlinePlus, Numbness and tingling).
Is the turmeric in Nervecept the same as curcumin?
The label lists turmeric (Curcuma longa) root at 50 mg, not a curcumin extract. Curcumin is one active compound in turmeric root. Trials in knee osteoarthritis used curcumin products, so the label amount is not comparable (NCCIH, Turmeric).
