The B vitamins and alpha-lipoic acid have been tested for neuropathy, with limited or little clear benefit. Cochrane reviews say so for both (Cochrane, Vitamin B for neuropathy) (Cochrane, Alpha-lipoic acid for diabetic neuropathy).
Glucosamine and chondroitin were studied in knees, with mixed results (NCCIH, Glucosamine and Chondroitin). Turmeric shows an early signal for knee osteoarthritis, and boswellia has small, low-quality studies (NCCIH, Turmeric).
A result in a knee does not tell you what happens in a nerve.
